How to care for and wash your women's bodysuit to keep it looking new for a long time?
A good bodysuit is like a good song: you want to keep it for a long time.
But be careful, even the most durable bodysuit deserves a minimum of care!
Here are the right habits to make sure your bodysuit remains your best ally.
1. Opt for a delicate wash
Yes, your bodysuit is strong, but it's not armor.
👉 NO COMMENT Tip:
- Wash your bodysuit at a maximum of 30°C, on a delicate cycle.
- Put it in a small laundry bag to avoid snags with unruly jean zippers.
2. Always turn it inside out
Turning your bodysuit inside out before washing helps to protect:
- The fibers,
- The colors,
- Small details like the ruching and seams of our Ingénue bodysuit.
And as a bonus: it also reduces pilling.
3. Ban the dryer (seriously)
The dryer is a bit like an overly aggressive guitar solo: it ends up breaking what we love.
Heat damages elastics and fibers.
👉 NO COMMENT Tip: Dry your bodysuit flat, away from a direct heat source. (Yes, even if it's tempting to put it on the radiator in winter.)
4. Iron at low temperature (or not at all)
Our bodysuits are designed to hardly wrinkle (thanks to elastane).
But if you really insist on taking out your iron:
👉 Use the gentlest temperature, without scorching steam.
5. Store it with love
A properly folded bodysuit (without crushing it) will live much longer than a bodysuit rolled into a ball in a corner of the closet.
Textiles also need respect.
The final word:
A well-maintained bodysuit is one that stands the test of time without a wrinkle (a bit like some rock stars), and our bodysuits are designed for that.
